The economy version

We are awaiting our Atlanta to Johannesburg flight to take off. Our connecting flight arrived late but team Africa managed to get to the gate on time without knocking over any small children. All this time at airports has turned us travel scholars. For instance, many people wonder what the difference between economy and first class seats are. Well, there are indeed some differences. Not having any first class experience myself, I am still getting an education from peeping beyond the great dividing wall that separates us. In economy you are told that your seat may double as a flotation device. That's comforting. Hope our seats haven't expired. In first class they are told that in the unlikely event of a water landing they have an assigned stewardess who will hand them their flotation device along with a drink for the road as they gently depart the aircraft. On a flight this long the economy people are tortured by having to walk past the first class seats that essentially offer each of them a king sized bed. In economy you aren't even offered your crazy uncle's cot.

Well, they are telling us that my computer will interfere with their navigation systems so I better not google New Zealand and get us in the wrong airport.
